Make Mine Pink Christmas Cookie Recipe Exchange

Welcome to the Make Mine Pink Blog
Christmas Cookie Exchange

What a great way to get a new Christmas cookie recipe! I can't wait to see what everyone has posted on their Blogs! I may just find myself some new favorites! I have so many favorites I didn't know which one to choose. So I decided to choose a couple! One of my favorites is from the Better Homes and Gardens Christmas Comfort & Joy Book. If you love Gingerbread Men Cookies you'll love these. They are soft, chewy and without a doubt delicious!

Soft Ginger Cookies

What you'll need...

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons ground ginger

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup butter, softened (do not substitute)

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1/4 cup molasses

2 tablespoons sugar (set aside)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl with an electric mixer beat butter for 30 seconds. Add 1 cup sugar. Beat until fluffy. Add egg and molasses; beat well. Add half the flour mixture; beat until combined. Stir in remaining flour mixture with a wooden spoon.

Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in 2 tablespoons sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes or until light brown and puffed. Let cool on cookie sheets for 2 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool.

Makes about 36 cookies! Enjoy!

Feel free to post your favorite recipe in my comment section.

Chic n Shabby Fabric Rag Ball Ornaments

These fabric rag balls turned out so pretty! These kept me busy for a couple of days but I had so much fun making them. I think I need to make some extras for myself! Perfect for your shabby chic tree, wreath or to top off the perfect gift! Each one is covered in the shabbiest Mary Rose fabrics I could find and adorned with either a pink or white organza bow and white satin ribbon to hang them by. These are perfect for feather trees since they are soo light. You can find them on my website or in my Little Pink Boutique at Make Mine Pink. I have a few patterns available.

Who Says You Can't Burp in Style?

When my first daughter was born I searched everywhere for pretty burp cloths. All I could find were those ugly white ones at the local baby store. So when I started my business I made it a point to find the perfect burp cloth. These are perfect for any stylish mom and baby too of course! You can never have enough of burp cloths especially when they look like these! We have several styles and patterns to choose from. They wash up great and are made from beautiful cotton fabrics. Set of two cloths in each pack. These make a perfect welcome gift, gift topper or add to a gift basket to create the perfect baby shower gift.
